The pilots and their vehicles are ready to brave the cold and slide, competing within hundredths of a second at an average speed of 40 km/h, all in the name of fun. This event is all about driving like in the old days, without power steering, often without power brakes, certainly without ABS and other electronic aids. No xenon lights brighten the roads, and solid rear axles seek traction – truly, it's an expedition into the unknown.

The Mid EUROPE is one of the largest brass music festivals in Europe. Every year, 35 ensembles and orchestras from approximately 15 nations travel to Schladming to share the sounds of classical, Bohemian, swing, ska, and pop music with the world.
